Operating from our Tullamarine facility, we run a structured multi-shift manufacturing and distribution operation focused on safety, quality and customer service.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Operator to join our Afternoon Shift team.
About the Role
This is a full-time Afternoon Shift role working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
You will be responsible for truck loading, forklift operation, dispatch activities and general warehouse duties, ensuring customer orders are prepared, loaded and ready for delivery.
The role involves working across both the warehouse and yard, loading vehicles, moving product, preparing dispatches and supporting day-to-day transport operations.
This position offers exposure to broader logistics activities, including transport coordination and scheduling support, providing an opportunity to further develop your logistics career.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong safety awareness, attention to detail, reliability and a positive team-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading and product movements
- Load company and contractor vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Move vehicles within the yard and loading areas
- Complete daily forklift, vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Pick, stage and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Perform manual handling of sheet-metal products as required
- Support warehouse, dispatch and transport operations
- Complete inventory, dispatch and operational system transactions
- Assist with transport scheduling and logistics administration as required
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Follow all safety, Chain of Responsibility and operational procedures
Skills & Experience
Required

Current Forklift Licence
- Current Truck Licence (MR minimum or HR preferred with manual licence)
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling work
- Basic computer and system entry capability
- Reliable and consistent work ethic
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred

Previous warehouse, dispatch or transport experience
- Experience handling steel, building products or manufacturing materials
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
- Exposure to transport scheduling or route planning systems
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements
