Occupational Therapist – Complex Needs
Full time preferred, may be open to part time for the right candidate
We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting clients across the lifespan, particularly in the prescription of assistive technology and complex intervention needs. The role involves supporting activities of daily living, prescribing assistive technology, developing manual handling and positioning plans, recommending minor home modifications, and completing functional assessments. As with all roles based at our Allambie site, you will benefit from a high level of supervision, mentoring, and access to specialised training to support your ongoing professional development and success.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Allambie Heights is a major service hub located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, supporting people with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities across all stages of life. At the Allambie site therapists have access to fully accessible therapy rooms, a purpose-built hydrotherapy pool and customised seating workshop.
The Allambie site provides multidisciplinary therapy services, including occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and behaviour support. These services are tailored to individual goals and delivered using a person‑centred, approach, grounded in evidence-based practise. At CPA Allambie Heights, we support clients across all stages of life, from early intervention with babies and young children through to adults with complex needs. Our therapy team partners with clients to build independence and achieve meaningful functional outcomes, with a strong focus on skill development, assistive technology prescription, minor home modifications, and functional assessments.
The Allambie Heights location also connects closely with CPA’s wider service network, contributing to an integrated model of support that includes clinical services, community programs, accommodation supports, and family resources.
