Full Job Description

We are seeking a well experienced carpenter who has the following attributes. You must also be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be responsible. You be willing to work in a team

environment.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 (plus superannuation)

The Roles

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and other materials according to specifications
Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction
Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets
Conducting repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations

The Position Requires

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment. They should demonstrate:

A minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, including framing, finishing, and joinery
A relevant qualification in carpentry or a related field (e.g., Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and compliance with industry standards
