The Opportunity

Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef ready for your next exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and driven professional to join our dynamic team at Peppina.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will showcase your culinary expertise through hands-on leadership, guiding the kitchen team while supporting the overall management of all food-related operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing both guest and team experiences, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity, while contributing to strong financial performance across the kitchen.

Key Accountabilities:

Support the oversight of all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality culinary offerings
Establish and uphold culinary standards to drive excellence across all areas of the kitchen
Maintain exceptional food quality and service standards, contributing to an elevated guest experience
Mentor, coach, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and high-performing environment
Oversee food preparation across all outlets, including banquets, in-room dining, Mary Mary Bar, and Deco Lounge
Collaborate with and support stewarding and purchasing functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Profile
Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef and a Chef trade qualification.
Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, leading by example.
Strong relationships with producers, ensuring quality sourced produce.
Impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
Willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions.
A genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus.
Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices with a growth mindset.
Determination and reliability, with availability to work late nights and weekends as required.
