About The Role

Our Fortuna Insurance Services team is growing and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Broker for the position of Account Executive to provide high-quality broking support for our insurance broking division. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance broking professional who is proactive, client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

· Providing professional advice to clients across various sectors on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management

· Preparing and presenting insurance quotations, renewals and reports

· Liaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate competitive terms

· Claims management and providing technical broking support

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

· Maintaining accurate client records and documentation using broking systems

· Responding to client enquiries professionally and within agreed service standards

· Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

· Managing and growing a portfolio of insurance clients

· Supporting business development through existing client interactions and identifying new opportunities

Key Skills & Experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to further develop their career in Insurance Broking.

· Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification

· Previous experience within the insurance broking industry (minimum 3 years and desirable 5 years)

· Experience in broking software (Winbeat, Insight or similar) (Insight experience preferred)

· Diploma or Higher Qualification

· Excellent customer service skills and thorough product knowledge

· A proactive, can-do attitude with high attention to detail

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills

· Ability to explain the claims process clearly to clients

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
