The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trustee Officer to join our Trustee Services team based in Sydney CBD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in financial services, trustee services, custody, superannuation, registry, or related administration environments. Whether you are early in your career or bring some relevant industry experience, we are looking for someone with the right attitude—someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, works independently, and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment.
Reporting to the Manager, Trustee Services, you will play an important role in the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of trust, custody, and escrow arrangements, helping ensure client obligations are delivered accurately and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating trustee administration activities across a portfolio of trust, custody, and escrow arrangements
- Managing the Trustee inbox, calendars, workflow logs, and client enquiries
- Preparing and distributing trust trial balances and assisting with client accounting queries
- Coordinating trust asset transfers and maintaining appropriate approvals and documentation
- Processing trustee, custody, escrow, and margin-related payments
- Assisting with proxy voting administration and trade execution processes
- Supporting FATCA and CRS compliance requirements
- Assisting with the establishment and onboarding of new trust, custody, and escrow clients
- Coordinating bank account establishment, ABN and TFN registrations, and client documentation
- Maintaining trustee databases and client records
- Assisting with audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Providing operational and administrative support across the Trustee Services team

- Experience in administration, financial services, trustee services, superannuation, custody, registry, accounting, or a related environment
- An accounting, finance, business, or related background (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
