Remuneration: 116892 - 120680 full time equivalent base salary range (+12% super + 17.5% leave loading and salary packaging)

What you'll be doing
To provide collaborative Occupational Therapy services, in a multi-disciplinary team to children/young people referred as inpatients or outpatients for assessment and treatment through Psychological Medicine for diagnoses such as autistic spectrum disorders, developmental delay, Tic and Tourette disorder, psychological conditions; and for those developmental at risk due to psychosocial and/or environmental factors. Provide resources to community organisations e.g. pre-schools, schools, community health. Participate in teaching, research and quality activity projects.

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with APHRA.

Significant postgraduate occupational therapy experience in paediatric mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Knowledge and experience of sensory screening and intervention as well as behaviour management.

Experience in administering occupational therapy based developmental assessments.

Experience in working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team using a consultative model.

Skills in regards to supervision and ability to provide training on Occupational Therapy related topics to other health professionals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
