HEAD TENNIS COACH — DISCOVER SPORTS GROUP Full-Time | Lower North Shore, Sydney NSW | $76,515 per annum

About Discover Sports Group

Discover Sports Group is one of Sydney's premier tennis academies, based on the Lower North Shore. We're building something exciting — a coaching environment where people enjoy coming to work, feel genuinely supported, and have the chance to progress quickly if they put the effort in.

About the Role

We're looking for a great tennis coach to join our team — someone who loves the sport, loves working with people, and wants a role with real long-term potential. This is a full-time, hands-on coaching position with leadership responsibility across five core programs.

If you're a coach who wants stability, development, and the chance to take on more responsibility over time, this is the perfect fit.

The role includes

Schools Coaching
Hot Shots Coaching
Private lessons
Junior Development & Performance
Adult Tennis Programs

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver private lessons, adult clinics (beginner through to advanced), squads and player pathway programs
Plan and deliver Hot Shots programs in a fun, engaging and structured environment
Visit partner schools to deliver curriculum-linked tennis sessions
Design and implement junior development pathways, identifying and nurturing performance-level talent
Coordinate and coach adult group sessions, social competitions and clinics
Assist in planning and running school holiday camps, tournaments and competition trips
Be involved in program planning, scheduling, communication and program design — you won't just be on the court
Maintain accurate records of player progress, attendance and program outcomes
Communicate proactively with parents, school staff and adult participants
Ensure a safe, inclusive and positive environment in line with Child Safety and Working with Children requirements

Requirements

Tennis Australia Accreditation or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)
Industry coaching experience
Current Working with Children Check (NSW)
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Full & valid driving license

Salary & Location

Salary: $76,515 per annum
Employment type: Full-time (38+ hours per week)
