KT OOSH is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and well-presented assistants to join our growing Before & After School Care teams in Rouse Hill.
You will work alongside a team of professionals who pride themselves on delivering high quality childcare services and interest-based programs for children and the community.
You will receive full training and support from our experienced management team and will be provided with a complimentary uniform.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Casual Educators – 2 to 3 hour shifts on a casual basis
· Supporting active supervision of children across indoor and outdoor environments
· Supporting children's safety, wellbeing, rights and inclusion during daily routines and play experiences
· Assisting with mealtimes and promoting safe food practices
· Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and team members
· Supporting engaging play and interest-based experiences for children
· Assisting with preparation and pack up of learning and play spaces
· Following service policies, procedures, supervision expectations and child safe practices
· Maintaining professional boundaries and role modelling positive behaviour
· Responding to child safety or wellbeing concerns immediately in line with reporting obligations
· Supporting compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law (NSW), National Regulations and National Quality Framework

- Participate in mandatory child safe training, including child protection and reporting obligations as required by NSW legislation.
- Notify the Approved Provider immediately if their Working With Children Check status changes, including suspension, interim bar, or bar

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in Before and After School Care or a similar setting
- Experience supporting or leading a group of children is highly regarded
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications (highly regarded)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- Police Check (required)
- Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Ability to demonstrate suitability to work with children through recruitment screening and ongoing employment expectations
