An exciting opportunity is available for an IT Support Engineer at Academy of Education and Innovation Australia (AEI Australia), a leading education provider based in Sydney. About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced IT Support Engineer to support campus IT infrastructure, learning systems, and end-user devices. You will ensure all systems are maintained, issues are resolved promptly, and preventative measures are in place to minimise disruption to academic delivery.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assistance to students, trainers, and administrative staff in person, over the phone or via remote access tools.
Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and software, including operating systems, applications and peripherals.
Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot Operating System and application issues (Microsoft Windows / Mac OS).
Monitor and respond to support requests in a timely manner.
Manage and maintain the organisation’s website and web portals, ensuring uptime, performance, and content accuracy.
Provide guidance to end-users on IT best practices, security protocols, and use of IT systems and applications.
Ability to deliver a comprehensive IT systems audit and developing procedures and manuals where necessary

· Willingness to be hands-on and perform tasks of all levels of complexity when required from level 1 support through to leadership

Work closely with academic and administrative teams to support training delivery
Support and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS) (e.g., Moodle) and Student Management System (SMS) (e.g., aXcelerate)

The Successful Candidate Will Have

1-2 years of previous experience in LVL1/2 ICT Support role
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or related discipline)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong administrative and troubleshooting skills
Have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Prior SOE deployment experience
Be confident troubleshooting user access, login, and device-related issues
Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Be familiar with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle) and Student Management System (aXcelerate)
