About The Role
As Business Insights Analyst, you play a critical role in equipping the Sales and Aftermarket teams with the reporting tools and insights they need to make better decisions, faster.
Reporting to the Sales Operations & Analytics Manager, you drive the development and ongoing enhancement of management and operational dashboards and reporting solutions, maintain master data integrity across key systems, and act as a trusted business partner to both Sales and Aftermarket stakeholders.
You show curiosity about the business, are confident in presenting insights to leadership, and are motivated to improve how the organisation uses data every day.
What You’ll Do
Your everyday work duties can vary considerably; however, the below activities will form your key duties:
Business Intelligence:
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that serve Sales and Aftermarket teams
Develop and enhance data models, DAX measures, and automated refresh processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Continuously improve reporting tools based on business feedback, prioritising self-service capability for end users
Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort in regular reporting cycles
Own the end to end process for new reporting developments from IT, translating operational needs into clear requirements, briefing IT, supporting testing, and ensuring successful deployment and business adoption
Reporting & Business Insights:
Analyse business performance and trends to identify opportunities to grow sales and drive operational efficiencies
Support sales forecasting, budgeting, target setting, and performance tracking
Actively engage in providing insights and driving outcomes in reducing overall costs to the business
Champion data-driven thinking, helping teams understand and act on what the data is telling them
Master Data Ownership
Own and govern master data across sales and operational systems (including SAP)
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness to drive correct system behaviours and reliable reporting outcomes
Partner with IT and system owners to resolve data quality issues and implement sustainable controls
Maintain documentation of data definitions, hierarchies, and business rule.
Business Partnering
Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Aftermarket leaders, understanding their priorities and proactively surfacing relevant insights
Identify inefficiencies in reporting workflows and operational processes, and drive practical improvements
Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Logistics and IT to ensure cross-functional data alignment
Who You Are
Advanced Power BI and DAX expertise, including the ability to design and maintain large, automated data models and build high-quality, cross functional dashboards using best practice analytics techniques.
Advanced Excel proficiency with the alibility to structure clean, reliable models that underpin accurate reporting and analysis.
A storyteller with data with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decisions. Tailors communication effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Degree qualified in relevant field
Analytical - With an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex data, you can also translate this into meaningful, useful information that informs decision-making
Passionate – about the consumer and in delivering simply outstanding experiences.
Organised - you set the pace and the priorities, and then you bring a methodical approach to meeting your goals

Negotiator - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels across by building strong interpersonal relationships.
Fast learner – with the ability to adapt quickly in unfamiliar situations.
Advantageous
Experience within the White Goods industry or a consumer goods environment
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP platforms
Exposure to business process improvement methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks
