Full Job Description

Madonna Electric is a neighbourhood pizzeria with a proper bar and a crowd that likes both their pizza and done well. We're looking for someone who can shake a tin, pour a wine, and make a table feel like they've landed somewhere special.

The bar is yours — but we need you to understand it's not your hiding spot. When the floor needs you, you're there. We're a small team and the best teams do what needs doing, wherever that is.

You should genuinely like food and flavour — the menu changes, specials move fast, and we need you to sell with conviction, not just read off a card. If you've got dietary restrictions that make tasting the menu and your drinks awkward, this probably isn't the right fit.

What we're looking for:

At least a year behind a bar — you know your way around cocktails and you are proud of what you do. You've got presence and charisma without trying too hard. You remember names. You can read a room. You can find a different gear when it gets a little hectic. And at the end of the night your bar is cleaner than when you started.

What you'll get:

Good shifts, a venue worth working in, staff meals, and a team that backs each other. Plenty of room to grow for the right person.

Pay: From $32.30 per hour

How confident are you with wine/beer/spirit knowledge?

How do you prioritize tasks when you’re slammed with orders? How do you support your teammates during a busy shift?
What does great hospitality mean to you?
You'll typically be finished your shift by 10:30pm Do you live locally or have reliable transport home at late hours?
