This role will collaborate with clients and colleagues in key focus markets including transport, urban infrastructure, energy, and water. The Graduate of Architecture / Designer role in our Melbourne team will suit a candidate developing their design, technical and delivery skills across a range of building typologies. The role will work within a multidisciplinary environment designing, documenting and delivering sustainable architecture.
The Opportunity
- Support the delivery of architectural design and planning projects, developing design concepts, layouts, and schematic drawings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Create and refine 3D design models, using modelling software to visualise concepts, explore design options, and support project decision-making.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to develop coordinated design solutions and project documentation.
- Prepare engaging presentations, graphics, and visual materials to clearly communicate desin ideas and project outcomes to a range of stakeholders.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, technical documents, and project deliverables, ensuring high-quality content, clear communication, and effective collaboration across project teams.
Is this role right for you?
- Recognised Master of Architecture or similar relevant qualifications.
- 2-5 Years architecturally work experienced post-graduation working within design firms.
- Experience with architecture projects in transport, rail, industry, technology, energy or water sectors is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and other design and presentation software.
- Experience in scripting, Grasshopper and AI exploration beneficial.
- Experience in Lumion, Unreal and other rapid visualisation software is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly and adapt interpersonal style to connect with diverse stakeholders, fostering open dialogue and collaboration.
