Full Job Description

DORKY DESIRES IS HIRING!

We’re looking for a new Part-Time Team Member to join the chaos at Dorky’s.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love community-focused retail, and can handle the balance between organised chaos and customer service… we want to hear from you.

What’s on offer:

Part-time position (20–25 hours per week)
Afternoon & evening shifts
Immediate start available
2 regular rostered days off can be arranged

Essential Requirements:

Must be 18+
Previous retail experience required
Reliable transport
Availability for afternoon, evening & weekend shifts
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly & take initiative
Comfortable in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
Physically capable of lifting stock, restocking shelves & being on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable occasionally appearing in social media content/photos/videos

Bonus Points:

Interest in TCGs, anime, collectibles, board games or D&D
Experience with organised play or judging (Pokémon / MTG especially)
Experience with Canva or social media content creation

Role may include:

Customer service
Restocking & merchandising
Event support
General store upkeep
Assisting with social media content
Helping maintain the fun, welcoming chaos that is Dorky’s
