About the business and the role

Who is Core Drilling Services?

We are a specialist provider of Diamond and RC Drilling based in Perth with continuous year-round contracts in the Pilbara.

2/1 ROSTER

We are currently seeking EXPERIENCED & ENTRY LEVEL DRILLERS ASSISTANTS for FIFO roles in remote WA.

Inexperienced offsider applicants who possess a mechanical trade, heavy labouring or rural background and meet the required criteria outlined below are encouraged to apply.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The Position

FIFO from Perth
Established camp accommodation & facilities – Some exploration work
12 hour shifts
2:1 Rosters
Must be fit and healthy as repetitive lifting is required
Able to pass all medical, drug and alcohol, police and site clearance requirements

About you

You will be apart of a small team in remote locations working 12hr shifts. Respect and team work are imperative in this type of work environment.

We provide on the job training and resources for you to advance, you provide the drive to learn and commit to upholding Core Drilling’s standards.

Tickets and Qualifications

All tickets listed below are a requirement for the position, however we appreciate that those new to the industry are unlikely to have everything. Therefore, if you can meet the minimum standards to apply AND are prepared to complete the remaining tickets in a specified timeframe, we will consider you.

A valid and current WA HR Drivers license (HR-B or higher)
Police Clearance with the last 12 months or able to obtain

To start on site

HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (obtained within last 2 years)
HLTAID001 Provide CPR (obtained within last 12 months)
RIIVEH305E Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle
