Do you have keen attention to detail and a technical mind? Are you ready to build a career in estimating with a trusted Australian family-owned business?

Our Windows & Doors branch specialises in the sales, fabrication, and installation of aluminium windows and doors for residential and commercial construction projects. We are currently seeking an eager Residential Estimator to join our Toowoomba branch and support the team on a Part-Time basis, 24 hours per week with the possibility of full-time work.

The Role
This position is ideal for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of estimating within the residential and commercial windows and doors industry. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to personal development, learning our products, building knowledge and understanding accurate estimating services for both residential and commercial windows and doors by:

Developing a strong understanding of estimating principles through hands‑on training and guidance
Learn to interpret customer requirements, relevant standards and specifications to assist with accurate product selection and installation.
Develop the ability to read plans and complete quantity take‑offs for quoting.
Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely quotations and orders using V6 software (training provided).
Collaborate closely with our sales teams to support strong working relationships and smooth project delivery.
Participate in customer follow‑up and communication to help progress quotations through to finalised sales.

The Applicant
We’re seeking a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a meaningful contribution.
This role is well suited to someone with a background in Estimating, or within the building and construction industry, combined with a natural aptitude for collaboration and continuous learning, who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality products and outstanding service.

Proven estimating track record in the building / construction industry with V6 experience (preferred but not essential)
Foundational understanding of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors
Confident communicating with a wide range of people including home-owners, builders and business leaders
Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and prioritise, and to be organized and focused on task achievement
