Job Description:

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Claims Operations Manager to lead and elevate performance across our Workers’ Compensation claims function.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day claims operations, driving performance outcomes, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery for injured workers and stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, building team capability, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading, coaching, and developing across our Front End Operations (including 9 claims teams, eligibility, disputes and legal and supporting teams) to deliver strong outcomes
Driving operational performance across key metrics including RTW outcomes, compliance, and customer experience
Providing technical oversight and guidance on complex claims matters
Partnering with internal stakeholders including Legal, Underwriting, and Injury Management teams
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Ensuring adherence to legislative and regulatory requirements

Proven leadership experience within Workers’ Compensation claims
Strong technical expertise and understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks
Ability to influence, coach, and uplift team capability
Commercial mindset with a focus on performance and continuous improvement
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
