The role:
Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with the Manager Systems Integration within Enterprise Technology Services Branch, This is an exciting role for a motivated and positive person looking to join the Health Care industry with excellent opportunities to advance patient healthcare through digital innovation and collaboration.
Other key responsibilities include:
Provide advanced expert technical advice and guidance by performing redesign and fit of multiple cross platform systems, applications deployment, systems integration, acceptance testing and applications support.
Investigate and recommend new information management services and technology initiatives to address customer needs by participating in the review and evaluation of new technologies and Information Technology trends.
Provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on projects to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables.
Maintain an efficient and secure operational environment by consulting, advising and providing system design, product installation and operational support.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Technical skills and the ability to provide expert technical direction, standardisation and support of the enterprise infrastructure (HL7, interfacing, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, Java/Javascript, Rhapsody, Enterprise Middleware (SFIA Code: ASUP 5).
Expert ability to analyse IT system issues and successfully document implementable solutions (SFIA Code: PBMG 5).
Ability to develop, implement and ensure compliance to technical policies, standards and procedures at an enterprise level (SFIA Code: ISCO 6).
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal/external project stakeholders and external application vendors in order to deliver the required healthcare outcomes (SFIA Code: RLMT 5).
Experience in leading complex work packages and mentoring and coordinating a team (NHS: Collaborative Working).
High level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing).
Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Prince 2) (SFIA Code: METL 4).
Specific Working Conditions:
Travel maybe required.
Participation in on-call arrangements may be required for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the relevant award will apply.

As projects evolve and new initiatives commence, operational requirements may necessitate the transfer of the role. Accordingly, the role may be reassigned from one team to another to meet changing business needs.
