About the role
The Senior Team Leader Triage and Advisory Services role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality regulatory decision-making, operational effectiveness, and strong governance outcomes.
This role is responsible for, but not limited to:

Lead a specialist team delivering consistent, high-quality triage, assessment and verification activities in line with SafeWork NSW's National Triage Framework and legislative requirements.

Provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to frontline staff to build capability and support consistent and fair decision-making.

Monitor triage volumes, trends and emerging issues to inform regulatory intelligence and operational prioritisation.

Ensure accurate data capture, record management and compliance with privacy and governance obligations.

Oversee the delivery of high-level administrative and governance support across key operational functions.

Support effective resolution pathways and strengthen SafeWork NSW's regulatory response to workplace risks, including psychological risk and harm.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service consistency, efficiency and regulatory performance.

Experience working within a regulatory, compliance or investigative environment, with a strong understanding of WHS frameworks and principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, manage competing priorities and contribute to operational planning.

Proven people leadership experience, including developing capability, fostering engagement and driving continuous improvement.
