Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Postie (Postal Delivery Officer) to join our delivery team. As a Postie, you will be responsible for sorting, handling, and delivering mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses in a designated area. This role involves both physical activity and customer interaction, requiring a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort mail and parcels daily in preparation for delivery.
- Deliver letters, parcels, and registered items efficiently and accurately.
- Operate delivery vehicles such as bicycles, motorbikes, or vans depending on the route.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan items where required.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a positive manner.
- Report undeliverable items, address issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all safety procedures, especially when operating vehicles or handling heavy items.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
