About the Role
We are seeking a full-time IT Support Officer to deliver professional support for all staff located at our Head Office, as well as provide support & maintenance to server and network infrastructure. The role of the IT Support Officer is an exciting opportunity for graduates or someone who has 6 months to 1 year experience in a similar role.
Your role is primarily includes (but not limited to):
- Desktop support (local and remote users)
- General hardware support and upgrades
- Routine maintenance work
- Office facility support as required
- General routine duties
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support:
- Deliver basic technical support to all staff for all IT related requests and technical issues
- Offer operational support and maintenance to all server systems, laptops, desktops and mobile devices
- Provide problem resolution related to network and server infrastructure, hardware components, operating systems and productivity applications
- Facilitate preventative maintenance and system upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain system access and security
- Other general administrative tasks.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Microsoft Active Directory, and computer hardware.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot desktop and end-user issues, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- A strong customer service mindset, with a proactive and energetic approach to IT support.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mandarin language skills will be highly regarded.
- This role reports directly to the IT Manager.
