People First Bank (PFB)’s Data and Insights team manages an on-premises Data Warehouse (DWH) that supports all regulatory reporting requirements for the organization. We are also building a new modern data and analytics platform using Azure Databricks, hence we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced analyst to support in the operations of the data warehouse environment
This role is offered as a 12 months fixed term contract with potential extension or permanency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for business intelligence and data visualization.
Develop and manage SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) cubes to provide multidimensional analysis and support reporting needs.
Produce high quality documentation including data flow diagrams, release notes and process flow diagrams as required.
Design, implement, and maintain SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages for data ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring reliable data integration across systems.
Develop, deploy, and manage SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports and subscriptions to meet business reporting requirements and provide automated reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
About you:
You have proven expertise in SQL, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and VBA, with additional experience in Python considered advantageous. as well as the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights
Knowledge and Experience:
Detailed understanding of data analytics environments and architecture
Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling (star/snowflake schemas).
Strong T-SQL programming skills, SQL server database, Microsoft BI stack
Experience in the full software development lifecycle
Experience developing in modern data analytics self-serve environments (Power BI preferred)
Business analysis and change management skills
Experience in identifying, articulating, and designing testing strategies and frameworks
