You will be required to do the following duties:
- Prepare, mix, weigh and bake breads, pastries, artisan loaves, and specialty baked goods in line with Ten Acres recipes and production schedules
- Monitor Ten Acres stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within budget for management
- Check the quality of ingredients and maintain accurate stock levels for Ten Acres flour, perishables, and baking supplies
- Operate and maintain commercial Ten Acres baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofers, and related machinery
- Adjust temperatures, fermentation processes, and production settings to ensure consistent Ten Acres product quality
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards across all stages of Ten Acres production
- Monitor dough development, proofing, and baking times to meet both Ten Acres quality and volume requirements
- Assist in planning daily Ten Acres production volumes, product ranges, and seasonal offerings
- Decorate and finish Ten Acres baked goods where required
- Glazing Ten Acres buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing, as required
- Maintain accurate records of Ten Acres ingredient usage, batch production, wastage, and quality checks
- Work collaboratively with the broader Ten Acres bakery and retail team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Ensure all Ten Acres food and other items are stored properly
- Keeping accurate Ten Acres records
- Operating a variety of Ten Acres kitchen equipment
To be considered for this role, you should:
- Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
- Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts.
- Preferably hold a certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or a relevant field
- Qualified Baker/ Pastry Cook with 2-3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
