Position: Diesel Fitter
Location: Mt Marrow, Ipswich, QLD and various locations

Salary Range: $80 000 - $120 000
Glendun Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experience Diesel Fitter.
Suitable candidates are expected to be able to perform the following duties:
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy earthmoving equipment powered by diesel engines
· Carry out overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements (engines, transmissions, hydraulics)
· Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on plant machinery
· Inspect and test mechanical systems to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards
· Work with hydraulic systems, drivetrains, and heavy mechanical components
· Maintain accurate service and repair records
· Attend breakdowns and perform field service repairs when required
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience
· Relevant qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or similar) preferred
· Proven experience working on heavy diesel plant and earthmoving equipment preferred
· Strong knowledge of Diesel engines, Hydraulics and mechanical systems and Heavy machinery diagnostics preferred
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
· Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desirable Skills
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Previous experience in same industry
- Valid driver’s license
