People Operations & Experience Coordinator

Support the moments that matter across the employee experience at VMIA. As a People Operations & Experience Coordinator, you'll play a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience by coordinating people processes across the employment lifecycle. Working within the People & Capability team, you'll provide high-quality operational support while ensuring people processes are accurate, efficient and people-centred.

Hybrid working environment, with the majority of your week spent in the office
Total remuneration package: $97,317-$108,129 (inclusive of super)
As the People Operations & Experience Coordinator, you'll coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, role changes, leave, flexible work, reporting and compliance. You'll maintain accurate employee records, support HR administration and provide responsive assistance to employees and leaders, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience.
Provide first-level support for People & Capability enquiries and coordinate timely resolution or escalation.
Coordinate employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, role changes, leave, return to work and offboarding.
Prepare employment documentation and maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
Support onboarding, induction and people administration activities.
Assist with reporting, data quality, compliance and governance requirements.
Provide administrative support across payroll, remuneration, learning and development and other people initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, training, surveys and People & Capability programs.
Support purchase orders, invoicing and vendor administration.
Identify opportunities to improve people processes and the employee experience.
You'll be highly organised, customer-focused and enjoy creating efficient, well-organised processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality while managing competing priorities.
You'll bring:
Experience in administration, coordination or operational support, ideally within HR or People Services.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
A customer service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Experience maintaining accurate records and working with digital systems.
Strong communication skills and sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
Experience with Oracle, Power BI, Excel or SharePoint is desirable.
