Support Worker Wanted – Glenroy VIC (2:1 Support Role)
We are currently looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Glenroy, VIC.
This role involves supporting a friendly female client who lives with mental health challenges and schizophrenia. The client is very kind and enjoys getting out into the community, so the main focus of support is community access and companionship.
Position Details:
- Location: Glenroy VIC
- 2 days per week
- 4-hour shifts
- 2:1 support role (working alongside another support worker)
About the Role:
- Community access support
- Assisting with social outings and activities
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Encouraging independence and engagement in the community
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in mental health support preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and friendly nature
- Ability to work collaboratively with another support worker
- Reliable transport and valid driver’s licence preferred
- Relevant qualifications, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and First Aid/CPR are advantageous
