We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable receptionist to join our team in a general front-of-house and administration role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys client relationship, keeping things running smoothly, and supporting a busy clinic through practical, day-to-day admin.
This role will start part-time (2–3 days per week) from early July, with the intention to move to full-time hours as our busy season approaches.
This is a general receptionist role, with a mix of client facing and administrative work, including:
- Answering phones and managing general enquiries
- Booking and scheduling appointments
- Processing invoices, billing and payments
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Supporting the clinic team with general administration tasks
- Helping keep the reception area organised and running smoothly
Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not necessary. We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, calm and confident dealing with people
- Is happy juggling phones, bookings and admin tasks
- Has good attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Enjoys being part of a team and supporting others
- Can adapt as the clinic becomes busier during peak season
- Part-time hours to start, with progression to full-time
- Training and support to help you feel confident in the role
