The Oil Man NSW is a growing Australian-owned business specialising in the delivery of fresh cooking oil, collection of used cooking oil, and deep fryer servicing solutions for restaurants, clubs, cafes, hotels, and commercial kitchens across New South Wales.
As we continue to expand throughout Sydney, we are seeking a reliable and motivated MR Driver / Service Technician to join our Sydney team.
This is a casual position initially, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right person.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and equipment servicing. You will be responsible for delivering fresh cooking oil, collecting used cooking oil, cleaning commercial fryers, and providing exceptional customer service across Sydney and surrounding areas.
You will work independently throughout the day while being supported by a professional and friendly operations team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving & Deliveries
- Safely operate company MR service vehicles across Sydney and surrounding areas
- Deliver fresh cooking oil to customer sites and collect used cooking oil safely and efficiently
- Load and unload oil drums, containers, and equipment using safe manual handling practices
- Complete daily run sheets, delivery paperwork and electronic records
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, pre-start checks and report any issues promptly
Service & Maintenance
- Perform commercial deep fryer cleaning services in accordance with company standards
- Assist with servicing customer oil systems and equipment as required
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, cleanliness and presentation
Customer Service
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Communicate professionally and courteously regarding service schedules, site access and delays
- Represent The Oil Man NSW with professionalism and pride
About You
Essential
✓ Current NSW Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
✓ Safe driving record and strong commitment to workplace safety
✓ Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
✓ Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
✓ Strong customer service and communication skills
✓ Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules
Desirable
- Experience in delivery driving, transport, logistics or service industries
- Experience working within hospitality, waste oil collection or food services
- Forklift Licence
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience using electronic delivery systems or handheld devices
