Join our team at BIG4 Rainbow Beach as a Housekeeping Couple/team, where you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. Working together, you will help maintain the presentation of our accommodation, amenities, and park facilities to a high standard while delivering friendly and helpful service to our guests.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance of accommodation, amenities, and park buildings to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Clean cabin interiors, verandas, and exteriors as required to meet guest expectations.
- Ensure the cleanliness of amenities blocks, laundries, and camp kitchens to provide a hygienic environment for guests.
- Work collaboratively as a couple and with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilise cleaning chemicals according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) guidelines and maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling.
- Assist with general gardening and grounds maintenance where required to maintain the quality of lawns, gardens, and trees.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests, anticipating needs, and offering support where required.
- Support the enforcement of park rules to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or accommodation services is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right couple.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and MSDS guidelines is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a couple and within a broader team.
