At ESET, our Channel Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing Director (based in Singapore) in the planning and execution of channel and partner marketing activities across the Australia market.
The role supports the development of partner marketing plans, product and solution launches, campaign execution, MDF administration, budget tracking, and partner enablement.
Job description
The incumbent helps ensure the effectiveness of partner campaigns by monitoring, analysing, and optimising marketing activities. The role works closely with Sales, distributors, channel partners, agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to execute marketing programs that strengthen partner engagement, generate customer interest, and contribute to pipeline and business growth.
The role also supports marketing reporting and ROI measurement, event organisation, content and collateral development, localisation, partner portal management, and the administrative and operational requirements necessary for effective marketing execution in Australia (based in Sydney).
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Assist the Marketing Director in the development and implementation of channel partner marketing plans for the Australia market.
• Support new product and solution launches within the assigned channel by providing relevant collateral, communication strategies, partner enablement tools, campaign support, and related activities.
• Monitor and support assigned channel partner marketing activities, campaigns, digital channels, websites, and other partner touchpoints, and perform analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and develop the partner portal, ensuring relevant marketing resources, campaign materials, and partner-facing content are kept current and accessible.
• Execute the Market Development Funds (MDF) process and track marketing budget expenditure in accordance with company guidelines, including supporting partners with campaign planning, documentation, claims, and reporting requirements.
• Support the organisation, execution, and evaluation of channel events, partner activities, customer-facing events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives under the supervision of the Marketing Director.
• Analyse and report on assigned campaign performance against agreed objectives, including lead generation, pipeline contribution, partner engagement, and return on investment (ROI), where applicable.
• Produce and coordinate marketing materials, campaign assets, merchandise, Point of Sale (POS) items, and other collateral for channel partners and local market activities.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors, agencies, distributors, and channel partners, and establish processes that support the successful and timely execution of channel marketing programs and campaigns.
• Support marketing activities with channel partners, including email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, webinars, landing pages, and other demand generation initiatives where relevant in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Place and record orders, pre-account for received invoices, manage invoice adjustments and accruals, and actively communicate with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Administer reciprocal agreements relating to advertising and marketing cooperation, maintain accurate records in relevant project and marketing systems, and ensure regular reporting and archiving.
• Handle administrative activities of the Marketing department and prepare supporting documents, reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
• Support the translation, localisation, and adaptation of promotional and marketing materials.
• Assist in representing the company at selected partner, industry, customer, and company events.
• Regularly update the promotional and marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with partner activities, campaigns, product launches, events, and regional marketing priorities.
• Work closely with Sales and channel stakeholders to support partner marketing activities that contribute to customer engagement, lead generation, pipeline development, and business growth.
