Olympus Sports has been supplying quality sporting goods and footwear for more than 35 years and operates both a retail store in Neutral Bay and a growing e-commerce business serving customers across Australia. The company specialises in sporting footwear, apparel, sporting equipment and accessories from leading international brands and is recognised for its strong customer service and extensive product knowledge.
Due to continued growth in our online operations, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Web Administrator to manage and maintain our e-commerce platform, website content, online product catalogue, and digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Administering and maintaining the company's e-commerce website to ensure optimal performance, security and functionality.
· Updating website content, product listings, pricing, promotions and inventory information.
· Monitoring website performance, identifying technical issues and coordinating timely resolutions.
· Managing website integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, shipping platforms and third-party applications.
· Conducting routine website testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance checks.
· Maintaining website security, backups and user access controls.
· Analysing website traffic, customer behaviour and sales performance using web analytics tools.
· Assisting in the implementation of website enhancements and new functionality.
· Coordinating with external developers, digital marketing providers and internal stakeholders regarding website improvements.
· Ensuring website compliance with relevant privacy, security and consumer regulations.
· Preparing reports on website performance, online sales and user engagement metrics.
· Providing technical support relating to website administration and e-commerce operations.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate:
- AQF Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Information Technology, Web Development, Digital Technologies or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience as a Web Administrator, Website Coordinator, E-commerce Administrator or similar role.
- Experience administering e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento or similar systems.
- Sound knowledge of website management, content management systems (CMS), web hosting and domain administration.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, website analytics and SEO principles.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and digital marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with inventory management and online retail systems.
