About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Finance & Platform Operations Accountant to support the growth of our finance technology platform. The platform connects clients, brokers, lenders, and internal teams through digital application, assessment, document, and workflow tools.
This role suits someone who can manage core accounting responsibilities while also helping improve the financial processes behind broker commissions, lender payments, platform revenue, and operational reporting as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close tasks.
· Prepare management reports, budgets, cash flow summaries, forecasts, and operating dashboards for leadership.
· Track platform-related revenue, broker commissions, referral payments, lender payments, and operating expenses.
· Support BAS, payroll, tax compliance, audit requests, and coordination with external accountants or advisers.
· Improve finance processes, controls, documentation, and reporting cadence as transaction volume grows.
· Partner with marketing, business development, product, and operations teams on pricing, campaign ROI, and partner performance analysis.
· Help maintain clean financial records across platform workflows, client applications, broker channels, and internal operations.
About You
· Accounting, commerce, finance, or similar qualification.
· Experience in accounting, finance operations, management reporting, or commercial analysis.
· Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability; experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting systems.
· High attention to detail, strong judgement, and comfort working with confidential financial information.
· Able to work in a growing business where systems and processes are still being built and improved.
· English fluency required; Mandarin capability is highly regarded.
· Experience in finance, lending, mortgage broking, fintech, professional services, or platform businesses is an advantage.

Pay: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
