Role responsibilities include:
· Review and analyse drawings and specifications to identify the necessary materials,
· dimensions, and installation methods.
· Select and order suitable timber and materials, then prepare layouts for construction.
· Cut, assemble, and secure parts to build frameworks, fittings, and structures.
· Build frameworks, panel systems, roof frames, sub-flooring, and install floorboards,
· ensuring structures are square and level.
· Install fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit external wall cladding, doors, and window frames.
· Assemble prepared wood components to form structures and fittings for installation.
· Accurately cut and shape wood joints to the required dimensions.
· Construct concrete formwork as required.
· Repair and renovate existing structures and fittings.
· Work with other materials such as plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
· Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
· Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part-time
· experience)
· In-depth knowledge of carpentry principles, construction methods, and building standards.
· Proficiency with construction tools and equipment.
· Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
· Attention to detail and precision in measurements and construction processes.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
