Café All Rounder (BOH and coffee experience)
Geelong area with three different locations- Immediate Start Available
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a café and high school canteen environment, with Back of house and coffee experience, and can work confidently within a small team or individually while also being capable of working autonomously.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing espresso coffee and beverages
- Maintaining attractive and well-stocked food displays
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting with daily café operations, including opening and closing duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety
- Good understanding with food preparation
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment
- Demonstrated coffee-making (barista) experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current Food Handler Certificate
- Current Work with Children Check
- Reliable, well-presented and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
What We Offer
- Casual position between 7am and 2:30pm with some weekend work available
- Might need to work weekend and public holiday with penalty rates
