About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team in Henderson, WA. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and repair structural and mechanical components for submarines, ensuring compliance with strict quality and safety standards. The position also includes undertaking composite tasks, including fibreglass repairs and fabrication as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal and composite components.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform quality checks and maintain tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with supervisors and inspectors to meet production goals.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Fabrication/Welding (essential).
- Experience in MMAW/GTAW welding processes (highly desirable).
- Previous shipbuilding experience (desirable).
- Ability to work in confined spaces and adapt to challenges.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
