Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of Finance Officer to join our Finance team. This is a Part-Time, Fixed- Term position (0.6 FTE), commencing 20 July 2026 and concluding 29 October 2027. It is preferred that the 0.6 FTE is worked across a five-day week, however this is flexible and can be discussed during the interview process.
The Finance Officer will play a key role in supporting the Senior Accountants to ensure the financial records of the school are accurate and efficiently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Officer, you will:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Receipt and process incoming payments, including application fees, tuition fees and fundraising income.
- Process donations and prepare donor receipts for the Haileybury Foundation.
- Provide financial support to Haileybury Parents and Friends groups.
- Monitor and respond to Finance inbox enquiries.
- Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain supplier master data within the creditors ledger.
- Review, reconcile and upload credit card acquittals to the accounting system.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts.
