We’re seeking an experienced, qualified Gardening Team Leader to supervise 1–2 gardeners daily (within a wider team of 5–6) across premium residential and strata sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be on the tools, setting standards and ensuring exceptional horticultural results.
About the Role:
As Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of 1-2 gardeners daily
- Deliver high-standard garden and landscape maintenance across residential and strata properties
- Perform hands-on horticulture including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching and lawn care
- Identify any plant health issues and apply the appropriate treatments (chemical certification is a plus)
- Operate and oversee safe use of mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other horticultural equipment
- Deliver year-round site execution, planning lawn and garden maintenance activities based on seasonal horticultural requirements including irrigation, mulching, fertilising, pruning, hedging, and pest and invasive species treatment.
- Travel between sites
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be on the tools, setting the standard.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on horticulture or landscape maintenance experience
- Proven experience leading or supervising a gardening team
- Certificate IV in Horticulture (or equivalent qualification)
- Valid Australian work rights
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (must be able to drive a manual vehicle)
- Residing within approximately 30 minutes of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs or Lower North Shore (highly desirable for operational efficiency)

*Take-Home Company Vehicle Policy:
The option to take a company vehicle home is available but subject to logistics and management approval. Eligibility depends on your residence being within a reasonable distance from client sites to ensure fuel efficiency and minimize travel time. Additionally, secure off-street parking at your residence is required.
