How you can play a part:
Reporting to the Membership Sales Manager and working within the Clubs Consumer Department, the purpose of the Membership Officer is to generate the maximum number of membership sales and provide outstanding Member experience through:
- Answering and directing incoming & outgoing calls and emails, striving to provide exceptional customer service above member expectations
- Member enquiries while bringing a sales focus to each interaction
- Proactively pursuing sales & upgrade opportunities
- Processing new memberships
- Ensuring accurate and detailed record keeping of all customer interactions
- Confidently communicate and maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Effectively overcome objections using clear communication and solution-focused strategies
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Meeting individual and team KPI’s
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required

To be considered:
To be considered for this opportunity you will have
- Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a similar role with sales and customer service experience
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- High levels of attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to navigate challenging conversations and support Members from a wide-ranging demographic
- Ability to meet performance targets in a faced paced, challenging environment
