About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team in ST Marys, NSW.
This full-time role will see you operating heavy rigid trucks within the local area, delivering recycled materials to various destinations.
You’ll be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of our products.
As a driver, you will be an integral part of our customer-facing team.
We are looking for someone who presents well and can deliver the highest level of service to our customers.
Your professionalism and commitment to excellent service will enhance our logistics operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Safely operating heavy rigid trucks to transport recycled materials
- Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting any vehicle issues
- Ensuring delivery documentation is accurately completed
- Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures and company policies
- Representing the company on-site with customers while consistently upholding a professional approach.
- Providing excellent customer service to our clients
- Maintaining a professional and courteous driving manner at all times
What we’re looking for
- A valid HR driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Demonstrable experience operating heavy rigid vehicles, preferably in a logistics or transport environment
- Experience with Hook Lift preferred and Crane Lift Vehicles would be well received.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to positively represent the company and engage with customers.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- A commitment to safe driving practices and workplace health and safety
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
