The Role and its responsibilities

Complaints resolution
Staff management and administration: rosters, training, selection and first hand issues resolution
Set and maintain service quality standards and ensure staff is aware of those standards and
relative policies
Set budgets, implement strategies to maximize revenue and organize promotional activities
Cash and EFTPOS payments handling
Constant support to staff for OH&S compliance and Liquor Act compliance
Bar area direct supervision, including monitoring of beverages preparation and cleaning
Maintain regular communication with kitchen staff and management and participate in the
implementation of special menus according to customers reviews
Monitor and implement cost effective procedures, though attentive stock control and waste management
Desirable
Marketing and brand awareness, to follow the social media campaigns
Knowledge of more than one language preferable
Knowledge of Wine culture and wine association with food
The successful applicant
Sound knowledge of business management with previous experience in hospitality
Hold RSA Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
Hold Approved Manager Licence (or willing to obtain one)
Passion for customer service and good communicator
Multitasking skills
Flexible with hours, available and committed to work over weekends, evening shifts and public holidays
