Food & Desire is on the hunt for talented, energetic, hospitality-obsessed people to join us for a huge upcoming season – pouring and hustling across some of Melbourne's best events, venues and celebrations. Think Spring Racing Carnival, the Australian Grand Prix, glamorous weddings, corporate soirées and premium private events.
We're building out our crew for the season ahead and need Bartenders, Senior Bartenders and Bar Leaders who bring the energy, the skill and the desire to make every event unforgettable.
Think you've got what it takes?
We want people who:
- Bring proven bartending experience from bars, restaurants, events or hospitality venues
- Deliver exceptional guest service – warm, confident, professional and genuinely passionate about creating great experiences
- Stay reliable, organised and cool under pressure, even when the event is chaos
- Sweat the details: presentation, service and a bar that runs like clockwork, always
- Think on their feet and solve problems as fast as live events throw them
- Know their RSA, OH&S and responsible hospitality practices inside and out
- Communicate clearly and confidently, with a genuine team-first mindset
- Show up with an epic personality, positive energy and a smile that doesn't quit
- Present themselves polished, professional and approachable
- Are free for evenings, weekends and major event dates all season long
For Senior Bartenders and Bar Leaders
We're also after experienced leaders ready to take ownership of a bar: leading a team, setting the standard and holding it from setup to pack-down. You'll brief and support your crew, manage stock and service flow, troubleshoot on the floor, and partner closely with event managers to make it all look effortless.
