Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill Resort is a mid scale resort. Part of the Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts Group of hotels which are located throughout Australia, Asia, Middle East, India and the UK.
The property is located in the Pokolbin area of the Hunter Valley and is currently seeking a Maintenance Handy Person.
Duties include:
- Basic servicing of equipment.
- Painting accommodation rooms both interior and exterior.
- Basic plumbing works.
- Minor repairs to accommodation rooms, furnishings and resort grounds as they arise.
- Managing replacements in rooms.
- Assisting other departments where required in the overall operation of the resorts.
To apply for this role you should have:
- Experience in general maintenance and grounds work preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn all aspects of Hotel and Property Maintenance
- Capable of using small tools and garden and maintenance equipment including: Mowers (incl ride on), chainsaws, Whipper Snippers; Experience driving tractors and zero turns is an advantage
- Working under supervision of Property Maintenance Manager
- An ability to work cohesively with other departments
- An ability to work un-supervised, manage your time, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively
- Own transportation
- Availability between the hours of 8am and 5pm, some weekend works may be required
