Bullseye Construction is an established commercial builder delivering projects across hospitality, retail, industrial, childcare, aged care and health sectors throughout NSW and the ACT.
We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on Site Foreman to lead the delivery of an aged care refurbishment project in Canberra.
This is initially a 14-week contract, however, for the right person who demonstrates strong leadership, commitment and successfully delivers the project, there will be an opportunity to continue working with Bullseye Construction on future projects.
About the Role
This is not a role for someone who sits in the site office all day.
We're looking for a hands-on Foreman who leads from the front, is present on site, actively coordinates trades, solves problems before they become issues and maintains a high standard of safety, quality and housekeeping.
As this project is being delivered within a live operational aged care facility, previous experience working in occupied aged care environments is essential. You must understand how to safely manage refurbishment works while maintaining minimal disruption to residents, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the site.
- Lead from the front with a hands-on approach to site management.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and on programme.
- Plan daily activities and proactively resolve site issues.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and site presentation.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and project documentation.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, consultants and facility management.
- Deliver a quality project with strong attention to detail and minimal defects.
- Complete daily site diaries and reporting.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman delivering commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience delivering refurbishment projects within live aged care facilities (essential).
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining programme.
- High standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping.
- Current White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence.
