Abacus Instructor / Maths Tutor (Part-Time → Growth Role)

About the Role
- Deliver engaging Abacus and maths lessons to primary school students
- Conduct trial classes for new students
- Track student progress and provide feedback to parents
- Communicate regularly with parents and support student development
- Assist with basic classroom setup and organisation
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in teaching maths or Abacus (preferred, not essential)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Enjoys working with children
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
- Available on weekends and flexible to increase hours over time
Training Provided
Full training in Abacus methods and teaching approach will be provided.
Hours & Growth (Important)
- Starting: ~5 hours per week (including weekends)
- Initially, classes are limited as the centre is in its early growth phase
- As student enrolments increase, hours will gradually grow to 15–20 hours per week
- This role is ideal for someone looking for a long-term opportunity that grows over time
Pay
- From $28 per hour
- Higher rates for experienced instructors
