We are seeking to expand our team and hire an outcome-focused New Employer Services Consultant who enjoys job seeking, employer engagement and supporting injured workers to secure sustainable employment to join our multidisciplinary teams based in Melbourne.
This role is focused on supporting injured workers who are unable to return to their pre-injury employer to identify suitable employment options, build job readiness, engage with employers, attend interviews and achieve sustainable return to work outcomes under the workers compensation scheme
- Provide vocational guidance, job readiness support and practical job seeking assistance to injured workers seeking new employment.
- This is not a clinical counselling role. The core focus is vocational rehabilitation, job seeking, employer engagement, labour market research, employer canvassing, interview preparation, placement support and return to work outcomes.
Conduct labour market research to identify realistic job options aligned to each worker's functional capacity, transferable skills, experience and interests.
- Support workers with resumes, cover letters, interview preparation and job applications, and develop individualised return to work plans aligned with medical advice and live labour market opportunities.
Canvass employers directly to identify suitable roles, interview and placement opportunities to secure employment outcomes.
Liaise with insurers, employers and treating health practitioners to drive return to work planning.
Maintain accurate case notes that meet legislative, insurer and organisational requirements.

- Full ASORC / AHPRA Registration / Membership with Tertiary Qualifications in Allied Health or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation is highly desirable, particularly within employment or vocational rehabilitation services.
- A Passion for helping others!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using case management software and other relevant IT tools.
- Full Clean Driver’s license.
