Winntus Formwork Engineering is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot system and equipment issues, and ensure exceptional support for both internal teams and clients. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and network equipment.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct user training and provide guidance on system usage and best practices.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, or IT support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting engineering or construction-related software applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based platforms.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent are advantageous.
