Job Title: Casual Dental Receptionist
Location: Baulkham Hills
Employment Type: Casual ( Mondays, Wed afternoon)
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Casual Dental Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment enquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and update details as required
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle billing (including health funds)
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and correspondence
- Liaise with dentists, oral health therapists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised reception and waiting area
- Handle patient queries and concerns with professionalism and discretion
Skills & Experience
- Previous reception or administrative experience (dental or medical preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Competent in computer systems and Microsoft Office (experience with dental software is an advantage)
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude

Work Conditions
