Southern City Bathroom Renovations provides a complete renovation service from start to finish, delivering quality workmanship throughout every stage of the process. We are a long-established family-owned company located in Bunbury Western Australia.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our marketing activities and help us strengthen our presence across the South West.
The Role
This is a hands-on marketing role suited to someone who can understand our local market, identify opportunities and turn them into practical marketing campaigns.
You will work closely with the business owner and our team to develop and implement marketing strategies that generate enquiries, build our brand and showcase our renovation projects.
The role covers everything from market and competitor research through to campaign planning, digital marketing, content, advertising and reviewing campaign performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research the renovation and home improvement market across Bunbury and the South West to understand customer needs, local trends and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor competitors and industry activity to identify changes in the market and opportunities for the business.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote our renovation services, strengthen our local presence and generate new enquiries.
- Identify key customer groups and plan targeted campaigns to reach homeowners considering renovations and home improvements.
- Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns across our website, social media, digital advertising and other suitable channels.
- Manage the company's online presence and coordinate content showcasing completed renovations, before-and-after projects, customer stories and our services.
- Work with photographers, designers, web developers, printers and other external suppliers to produce advertising and promotional materials when required.
- Monitor website activity, customer enquiries and advertising results to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare marketing updates and provide recommendations to management on advertising, promotions, service positioning and new marketing opportunities.
- Review customer feedback and market information to improve how our renovation services are presented and promoted.
- Maintain consistent branding across digital advertising, social media, signage, brochures and other marketing materials.
- Plan upcoming marketing activities, assist with the marketing budget and identify new ways to grow the company's presence throughout Bunbury and the wider South West region.
About You
We are looking for someone who is creative but also commercially minded. You should be comfortable coming up with ideas, putting them into action and then looking at the results to see what is actually working.
Ideally, you will have:
- A relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- Previous experience in a marketing role.
- Experience developing and running marketing campaigns.
- Good knowledge of digital marketing, social media and website content.
- The ability to research markets and competitors and turn that information into practical marketing strategies.
- Experience using marketing and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
- Strong written communication and content creation skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Confidence working independently while also being part of a small, practical team.
- An interest in building, renovations, property or home improvement would be highly regarded.
