About the role
The Reece National Distribution Centre (NDC) is looking for a Distribution Centre Supervisor to support the Site Management Team in the day to day running of the NDC Outbound team of approximately 30 staff members together with another existing Supervisor
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to, maximising service levels internal stakeholders, minimise operational costs and provide customised customer service to the entire Reece ANZ branch network.
The National Distribution Centre is 50,000m2, with a total staff head count of circa 200. The NDC has an active role in ensuring our Customers and network are serviced effectively and efficiently by delivering a customised service across the entire Reece ANZ branch network
This role will have you leading, coaching, and supporting a small outbound team consisting of order Pickers, Packers, Checkers & Delivery Drivers in our day to day operations.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Understanding of DC Distribution principles
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong & respectful communication
- Be hands on a ready to step in when required
- The ability to develop and implement best practice processes and systems
- Inventory integrity
- Proven safety record and focus
- Teamwork & team first attitude is paramount
