About the Role:
As Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide high-quality, culturally responsive Speech Pathology services, primarily supporting children and young people aged 0–18 years, with some adult casework.
You will:
Provide assessment, intervention and consultancy
Support speech, language, AAC and mealtime needs
Provide clinical supervision and mentoring
Prepare reports for families, schools, NDIS and other providers
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and local services
Travel to remote communities by light plane and 4WD, including occasional overnight stays
About You:
Current Speech Pathology Australia membership/registration
Paediatric experience or a strong interest in paediatrics
Excellent communication, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload
Culturally respectful and confident working with diverse communities
Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Experience in remote practice, disability, NDIS, neurodiversity-affirming practice or transdisciplinary models will be highly regarded.
